Curry ?……..and Long Distance Running? …….Yes! Running The Thames Path and Wey Canal Path from London to Godalming ..ish

What two things have Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and  Sir Francis Drake all got in common?  One answer is that they all have tributes to them in London….. and on a Saturday in 2013 we got to run past all three.  I’ve always fancied an ‘urban to countryside’ long run and Claire and I decided to run a 40 mile run from central London Back to Surrey as part of our training for 60mile Trailwalker in July. Running Hydons Ball to Blackdown Hill in Surrey …and meeting my 14 year old self.

Anyone that has gone off road running with me will know that one of my weaknesses is a ludicrous optimism when it comes to estimating distance on a map.  Last weekend was no exception. Scrum Muffin laying a flour trail in hascombe for the Guildford Hash House Harriers On Monday November the 5th Scrum Muffin and I (Little Pecker) got to set the hash run with the Guildford Hash House Harriers. The Greensand Way Marathon Review

Last weekend was the Greensand Way Marathon organised by Trionium .
