Its sounds stupid but its true. All the different choices I have at home in storage are useless to me if I get stuck in a snow storm in my car or caught out in a storm in the cold on a short hike. As a first responder I carry an emergency bag in my car with various clothing and equipment I may need at the scene of an emergency and I also carry a sleeping bag in my car.
The reason I talk about this is because I think this is where the 3V GEAR sleeping bag is ‘best in class’. The price for their sleeping bag is so ridiculously low this should be your go to sleeping bag for your car in emergencies. It should be the one you keep in your bug out bag. It should be the one you lend to your drunk friend who is staying the night on your floor.
Fabric
The sleeping bag has a lightweight breathable outer fabric with a synthetic filling for warmth. I noticed that light splashes and light rain was also repelled off of the surface helping to keep you drier and warmer.
Comfort Rating
The bag is rated down to just about freezing. Given the cost If you are genuinely worried about the cold just buy two and put one inside the other!
Options
My 3V ROVOR sleeping bag was a rather bright yellow. Although I’m adverse to bright colors as I tend to stealth camp a lot I can see the common sense in the use of a color that is good in emergencies.
Fit and Sizing
This sleeping bag will be particularly popular with tall people as it measures 7ft long !

The sleeping bag also comes with a stuff sack to make sure it doesn’t take up too much space in your bag.
Gripes
You cannot criticize any feature on this sleeping bag because of its amazing price point. Of course there are better sleeping bags out there but you can have TEN of the 3V one for one of the high end sleeping bags.
