The Deckers X Lab KO-Z Chukka Boots are a mad mix of winter trail boot and smart casual shoe. It shouldn’t be possible to create a boot that’s waterproof and breathable, warm with great trail grip that also works well with jeans in a bar but somehow the guys at Deckers X Lab have managed it without making something ugly. This boot is just at home on the trails as it is in the city so you’ll get plenty of use but deep down I loved them for that fleecy lining. Allez Salves are a range of non greasy salves and lip balms that use recyclable packaging to make a range of natural product infused salves to protect and repair skin from a day of sun or snow outdoors. I like the small package size so they can easily be left in your pocket of your favourite trail jacket and the lip balm in particular was my favourite as it doubles up as a great face protector and hand/ knuckle moisturizer in the winter and a natural sunscreen in the Summer.
