One of the greatest pieces of US Army kit is not a weapon or clothing. Its a mythical blanket called the Woobie. A piece of kit that always elicits a smile and fond memories from those that served. When I unpacked this blanket and saw how well it converts to a poncho it reminded me of the woobie so much.

The compression sack is a nice touch and means you can store this blanket without taking up too much space in your pack.

I found that the travel blanket was useful when combined with the Voited Rain Poncho to create a great stealth or wild camping set up .The hood can be removed and the snap poppers allow you to convert this blanket quickly into a poncho too.
Water Resistant and Warm
The lightweight blanket has enough fill to keep you warm in the Spring or Summer evenings and the outer ripstop fabric has a water repellent finish that will keep the odd rain shower from soaking it.
Inner Pockets
The Blanket comes with two inner pockets which are both zipped too. One is more than enough for your cell phone and wallet and the other is HUGE.
