Super Speedy Summary Review
This summer I got to review the California Cowboy High Water Shirt here . Now that Winter is here I’ve got a chance to look at the warmer version of my favourite ‘Apres Ski Beer Drinking Shirt’.
This shirt was designed to make you smile and enjoy every minute of party. Its literally a sartorial wing man that holds your beer for you, keeps it cool and even has a bottle opener pocket to help you open your beer. Combined with a terry thermal lining that makes this as much as light jacket as it is a shirt. There is also a waterproof pocket to keep your phone, wallet and keys safe so this shirt has everything you need for a great winter adventure and the bar afterwards. This shirt is fun, warm, comfortable,thoughtfully made, well designed and very high quality. Its like sitting on a Snowmobile…parked at a bar. I love it.

I like the great outdoors. Trail Running, Camping ….epic stuff. I’m also known for liking a beer. I’ve been discussing ‘the perfect drinking’ shirt for some time. A kind of ‘Swiss Army Knife’ shirt that you can use to open and hold a beer, keep your keys and wallet safe and dry and keep you comfortable and warm after a frosty day outside.
Beer Pocket and More
So one of the best things about this shirt is its beer pouch. It’s round the back low down so its out the way without swinging around too much. It also comes with its own ‘Beer Koozie’ which is a neoprene sleeve that helps to keep the beer cool.
Keys Wallet and Phone – Safe and Dry
The shirt also has a waterproof pocket with a rubberized waterproof zip on it. This means you have a splashproof pocket to keep your phone,keys and wallet when you are enjoying yourself.
Flannel and Modal
The shirt is made from high quality luxury flannel and lined with an extra thick modal cotton. There is also an internal pocket. The fit is true to size so order the size you would with any other shirt, but I did feel the shirt and arms was a bit longer than I’m used to. I suspect this is because its meant to be a relaxed fit and potentially be worn over a few other items of clothing.
No More Opening Beer with my Teeth
This shirt also has a pouch dedicated to its own shiny bottle opener. This is glorious and genius. The bottle opener that comes with it is golden and shiny and has the California Cowboy logo on it.
Sunglasses and Gloves
The Shirt also has loops to hold your sunglasses and gloves when you are indoors. I tried the shirt in midnight blue but it is also available in a number of other plaid patterns and colors as well.
Talk to me Goose
For those of us that are shy there is a set of talking point cards also in the shirt so that you can use them to start conversations or jot down telephone numbers.
