The Prospect Mountain Trail in CT is a 1.9 mile CFPA Blue Blazed Trail near Bantam in Connecticut. The trail takes in two vistas, has impressive rocky ledges and outcrops and winds through woods crossing streams with the remnants of an old copper and nickel mine.

Prospect Mountain Trail Guide

The trail shows evidence of copper and nickel mining all along it from the past. Some of the now abandoned mine shafts are now flooded and filled. There are also two peaks about half way along with superb views to the surrounding areas.
